I think the lack of postings on the new Auburn coach is representative of the level of enthusiasm for his selection. Why is that? He seems to have a good story...????
We will get to find out what it's like to score again. If we can hold on to the QB recruit out of Montgomery and find some people who want to win bad enough to be coachable, things might work out. Malzahn needs to find a dependable assistant to handle a lot of the game management duties (Pat Sullivan?) to free him up to call plays and run his offense. I know he was able to handle things pretty well at Arky St. but just not sure how it's going to work at AU.
War Eagle. I am ok with it. It seems we were not going major coach, even with Jacobs' indication that the search net was broad. What a crock! He has got to go. Too syrup-py. Malzahn will get the offence going, hope he can land a decent defensive coach, and we can be a tough minded, blue collar Auburn again. Hope some good recruits stay and others are added, but a clean house is the best way to start. Just hoping the January Jacobs retirement rumor is true. Also, glad that Dye had another favorite. He must be more out of the picture as well.
