at the firehouse

The guys down at the firehouse are out front washing down the pumper one beautiful spring day when up the sidewalk strolls a cute little girl of about 7 with her red wagon. She has attached a small ladder on the side and rolled op a garden hose and placed it in the wagon which is being pulled by a dog and a cat. All the crew are charmed by this little lady. One of the guys goes over and says "Well, looks like you are a fireman too. That's a nice looking engine you have there." She says "Yep, I'm gona be a fireman some day." Her new friend then notices that she has a rope from the wagon tied to the dogs collar but the rope to the cat is looped around his balls. Concerned with the well being of the cat he gently says "You know I don't want to tell you how to handle your rig, but do you think it might go faster if you attached both ropes to your pets' collars?" She thinks briefly and says "You maybe so but then what would I do for my siren?"
