Thank you Lord....only one more day and we can get back to racin' on Sunday.This year's Daytona 500 should be a great one with the new car and Miss Danica on the pole. I bet she will not finish in the top 20. Go Smoke!!!!!!

Congrats to Danica....she did alot better than I thought she would in a very boring race. I know it's a new car, but the Daytona 500 is suppose to be the "Super Bowl" of NASCAR. I'm sure they lost a bunch of new watchers with that race. I only hope it gets better from here on out or I will either be napping or outside working on race day.

Danica was hanging in all the way....was in 3rd until last 4 laps or so....never did figure out how she got pushed down to 8th.....that wreck Saturday was awful...it takes a lot of nerve to be a driver....

I normally don't like racing (go fast and turn left boring), but was inside some yesterday so I tuned in. I thought a couple of the commercials were good...even super bowl worthy. If I heard correctly in one commerical, they took a shot at the boring nature of the race.
Several folks are in a car, perhaps they all are drivers, I do not know. They are going around the track, a guy in the back seat is looking at a map and says something like "it says take a lap, and then take another lap" Funny.
