...possibly but don't bet the farm....as for madness prep, just practice your luck! I think Maddog Madness must be when there is a big pile of BarBQue to be judged...what a great job that must be!

It is indeed a wonderful job. It doesn't pay to well but I get to eat some of the best barbecue for free. And lots of it to boot. Next contest is March 9th in Statesboro, GA. I can just hear the Allman Brothers singin' the Statesboro Blues right now. I'm looking for a smoker big enough to do a whole hog. When I get it, we'll put on a "pig picking" over on the Sandy Creek side of the lake!!!!

Now you're talking....can't remember my last good "pig picking"....believe it was a luau I went to in Cols. GA during the 70's ....I get sentimental thinking about the Allman Bros....Blue Sky was the best instrumental ever(mostly instrumental.....guess there was some vocals on it)
