Well the Braves never have played good in the cold. It must have been cold in Pittsburgh. They have good pitching or at least pitched good against Atlanta...but getting snowed out in late April in Colorado is weird. Too bad about Heyward. If Atlanta ever gets all cylinders firing they are going to be tough to beat.
I believe the cold got to Hudson in the first Pittsburgh game...have never seen him blow thru his fists as much as he did in the first inning....just watched "baby" finish them off in the first game at Colorado but have no confidence in Teheran who is pitching 2nd game...hope he proves me wrong...
So much for the cold theory. They typically do not play well in the cold...but they whipped Colorado. I'll enjoy the best record in baseball until it is over. Looks like BJ Upton is starting to come around.
Baseball is not supposed to be played in snow especially where there is no air to breathe. I thought both games were pretty good. I'd like to see one more contact type hitter in the Braves lineup though.
