Went scouting Wednesday to try and stay in touch with the stripes. Wound up with a 26# pig in the boat. That thing will go on Bryan's smoker! Took out a father son combo today and boated a 35# beast in the first half hour. We only got one more schoolie after that, but no one seemed to care. Shawn got a real wall hanger for Fathers Day.
Pics will be posted on the Tooned In site when I forward them to Bruce. I have no idea how to upload pics to a website ;0

Thanks for listening and stay Tooned.  www.toonedinguideservice.com

Monday was a good morning!!  Walt and I took five stripers and three spots!  All from Wares!

The first two hit my swim bait, so I took my spoon off, and put on a 5" Action Glow Swim bait.... caught two on it!

In between, caught one on "Old Reliable"....1 oz white buck tail with a glow twister stinger!!

The spots all came on top water at the Danger sign!

But no hogs, but lots of shad balls!!

Congrats, we saw you guys over there and we had already been in Wares but we were further into the slough.  I used every bait you listed and caught nothing but the ground.  Did you see them jump there or find them on the fish finder?  Congrats again!!!!

Thanks!

The stripers all came from 25-30 feet on downriggers.  The spots were chasing shad on top; took those on Spit-N-Image!

See you out there!

Congrats Jeff on a great start to the trolling season. Those of you that like to fish in comfort with a great guy who knows how to catch stripes trolling should book a trip with ToonedIn.
