Just in case you needed a laugh:

Remember it takes a college degree to fly a plane, but only a high school diploma to fix one:

> After every flight,
UPS pilots fill out a form, called a 'gripe sheet,' which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft.

The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.

> Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by UPS pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers.

> By the way,
UPS is the only major airline that has never, ever, had an accident....

I have heard these joke for the last 30 years that I was in aviation, but there is one thing wrong...its not called a gripe sheet it called a squawk book or sheet. One company I flew for had a book that pilots would write up squawks, the  plane was grounded until maintenance crew could resolve the problem, that is, unless the chief pilot determine this issue wasn't serious. In other words non-airworthy issues.
The jokes are funny, but I doubt they were written up like that; the FAA really frowns on maintenance log that are not properly written.. They are pretty tight assed about maintenance records.
