For pete's sake how many weekends has it rained this summer? Need a roof over the BBQ. How have you guys solved the problem of rain on the Q?

Almost all my grilling this summer has been on the houseboat where the grill is on the back, covered deck. My smoking has been done on the deck at home. I have been able to work around the rain for the most part. I generally smoke in big batches and then vacuum pack in bulk. That allows me to cook early if necessary. When the weather was threatening I moved the smoker under the eve of the house. That is one advantage of the Master-built electric.

Just about ditto for me except I have a covered porch for the grill.
