WEEK 15: In an interesting but abbreviated week of college football, OT, WAREAGLE2010, BF, and MADDOG all tied at the top and finished in the order given based on the tiebreaker score. Congratulations to our new champ of prognostication, TWC, for finishing first in both the overall and drop 2 tallies. Congratulations also to BLMEANIE and PC for finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively in both. This year was perhaps our closest competition yet and featured some outstanding picking. The BowlPalooza will be set up very soon and details will be posted here.

I thought I had a pretty good system going there for awhile. But as I say after every decent landing, I'd rather be lucky than good any day.
Fun as always Bigfoot. Thanks for putting it together. Looking forward to the bowl picks and March Madness.

Congrats to TWC and the runner ups. I just want to say a great big THANK YOU to Bigfoot for putting this pool on every year. I know it keeps me more involved in college football all across the country. "Foot.....you're the best!!!!

Thanks Greg for all the hard work you put in all season for our group! Especially thanks for the reminders of when the games are being played for those of us that are 'time challenged'. Super fun, can't wait for Bowlapalooza!

I theorize that being in charge hurts your scores.
Years ago I started a bowling league which also means I was selected as president of the league. Thankfully the venue also ran the stats for the league. That was a big help. But my average dropped off 40 points nonetheless. Cannot imagine how many prima donnas and/or other petty garbage surfaced each week. I guess I should make it real clear I am NOT suggesting this group is anything like that. But while is brings us all together Greg has a good bit of work to do.
Perhaps a handicap for Greg is in order.

Thanks ya'll. I am in Gulfport right now trying to change my luck...the BowlPalooza is already on your page when you click "my pools"....most, if not all, matchups are in but will take a while I guess for all spreads to go in...more on that later. I know what you are talking about 'dauber regarding the bowling leagues...I was league pres./secretary of several leagues back in 70's and '80s...it was really rough before they got the computers in to keep up with everything....and the squabbles, arguments, even fights were more than I could take...it did cut down on my average but then again I was a lot better at bowling than I am at picking football...talk to ya'll later.

I hope this is not leading to a lakes online bowling league? I'm afraid that would seriously tax our gentlemanly civility.
But for a golf league...count me in! as long as we don't play at Stillwaters.

Way to go TWC. The season flew by. I kept picking Missouri and Auburn to get upset and lost all of them but 1 each.
I sure was pulling for a Duke victory...but knew that wasn't going to happen. An Auburn vs Alabama national championship would have wrecked the nation. An Auburn/Alabama 1-2 finish would be a hard blow too. If Alabama beats Oklahoma, a second place finish is not bad. Thanks again Bigfoot for keeping it going.
