The big game was coming up Franklin was the star of the team but dumb as a stone. The Dean approached the coach and told him Franklin couldn't play in the game, his grade were terrible and he was failing math. So the coach went to the math professor and pressured him into giving Franklin a math test he could pass; just so he could play in the big game. The test was on the multiplication table of the 9's and divide a box into four equal parts. 9 X1= to 9 X 9=
Franklin sat down in an empty class room and the professor told Franklin; you have 2 hours to complete the test?
1.9 x 1= Franklin thought and thought "OH -=9
2. 9 X 2= He was dumb founded and said that is one I do not know and put 1 in the answer box
3. 9 X3+= that's 2 I do not know this but put 2 in the answer box; this continued for the entire test until he reached the 9 X9= and he thinks.... that 8 I do not know
Maybe if I go backwards I can figure it out.
9X 9= that 1 I do not know, but in the answer box he puts beside the 8 the number 1 in the answer box was 81
9 X 8= that 2 I don't know , in the answer box was 72
9X7= that 3 I do not know but in the answer box was 63 this continued until he go to 9 X 2 = final he give up and put 8 I do not know but in the answer box was 18
At the end of the test he sat there about to cry because he thinks he has failed the test, he thinks to himself I'll just sign the paper and hand it in. The box that said divide into 4 equal parts he put an X
Franklin was the star of the game that day..
