A local reporter heard and amazing story about a farmer who was saved by a pig, he thought it would make an interesting story and went to interview the farmer. Upon arriving at the farm he found the farmer feeding his hogs, one hog stood out. It had a wooden leg. The report was amazed, a hog with a wooden leg. He ask the farmer about the pig saving his life. The farmer explained that he was cutting hay and the pig was following close behind, the tractor hit a large hold and turned over, pinning him under the tractor. The pig ran back to the farm house and fetched the farmer's wife, who called 911 for help. The reporter couldn't help but wonder why the hog had a wooden leg. He asks the famer: why does that hog have a wooden leg? The farmer said; OH, that is the hog that saved my life, he was just a wee pigglet. Still curious, the reporter asks was the pig hurt during this rescue? No, said the farmer. Then why does the hog have a wooden leg? With a serious look on his face the famer said: it would be a damn shame to eat a hog like that all at one time.
