What kind of A/V reciever do you have?

Does it output no sound at all, or is the multi-chanel just not working?

What is the source input (HDMI, Optical, RCA)?

A/V Recievers often get put in the wrong mode with all the buttons on the remote and it takes a bit of troubleshooting to get it resolved.
