Dixie Sailing club will host its annual "Introduction to Sailing"  Saturday June 20th from 10:00 to 4:00.

This is a Dixie sailing Club event designed to open our facilities to the public at no charge and experience one of the many great resources on Lake Martin.

All ages welcome.

Scheduled activities include:

Chaulk talk on the basics of sailing.

Basic introduction to parts of the sailboat.

Capsizing and recovery demonstration.

Guest can sail a small boat on their own or go out with club members as a crew on the larger boats.

Lunch and refreshments will be served.

Private tours will be given.
