Warning About Water Floatables At Dock

A word of warning/interest about water pads, blow up trampolines, float islands, etc. A relative on Lake Norman (Charlotte NC) has told us Duke Power has now banned leaving any floatable out overnight and it is being enforced. You must remove every night. Lots of complaints about homeowners leaving big flotables out all summer. Only thing that can be left overnight in the water is your boat. Period. Not saying Alabama Power will follow suite, but if you put a giant colorful floatable between your dock and your neighbors and they don't like it, they will complain. Just be aware that this is becoming an issue on some lakes.
