Seems to be a pattern. Somebody .akes a negative post and rather than ignore it or just do a simple me a culpa one of them posts trying to justify their behavior and only makes it worse.

It wasn't a series of negative posts but one post, followed by a response and several others that supported the restaurant.  I suspect the original poster asked the webmaster to remove it.  It was posted in anger and I suspect upon further relection he or she decided that complaining about a very standard policy at a restaurant was probably not the fairest thing to do.  Probably a good thing that it was deleted.

I ACTUALLY DID ON MONDAY A NEW SUBJECT HEADER ON HARBOR DOCKS WITH A BUNCH OF POSITIVES AND ONE BIG NEGATIVE.  I WILL SAY ALL IN GOOD TASTE.  IT WAS ALSO TAKEN DOWN.  IF YOU GO TO THE SUBJECT HEADER THE LANDING POSTED A FEW DAYS AGO THERE WAS A NEGATIVE COMMENT ABOUT THE LANDING BUT IT IS STILL UP I THINK.  MAKES YOU WONDER JUST A LITTLE.

No Sir.  i am partially blind besides being a senior.  it just makes it easier for me to see what i am typing.  A lot of times people think i am yelling but not the case.  As a suggestion you may want to think about your comments before putting to script.  One never knows the circumstances on the other end.

Since most of us are not posting in all caps, you might want to consider increasing your font size on your computer.  That's just a suggestion from one senior to another.

Back to my thoughts on Harbor Dock now that we know some posts get taken down and some do not...

Two weekends ago we lunched and all was good, food good, service good.

Decided to take a group of guests there the weekend after that.  Service prompt but the delivery of the food was painfully slow.  The waiter kept checking on us but whatever was going on in the kitchen was not up to par.  When 2 meals arrived I was embarrased about the fish sandwich one of my guests ordered.  It looked more like a piece of tail rather than a filet of fish.  All others were finally served except one which the kitchen ended up saying it was "dropped" and they had to re-do that order.  I know that happens but overall, the experience lasted too long and I will not take guests back again.  

I will go back.  I love Harbor Docks and I love the no drama docks for the boat's sake. 

Just hope they have a handle on dealing with issues when they happen and how that translates to their customers.
