Here we have the wealthy south GA farmer who has acres of water melons almost ready for harvest.  Early one morning he catches 2 share cropper's 8 and 10 year old kids stealing 2 of his precious melons.  He is so incensed he chases them away and fires his shot gun at them as they flee leaving the melons on the groung undamaged.  That same day he has a big sign painted which reads "WARNING TO THIEVES...1 OF THE WATERMELONS IN THIS FIELD HAS BEEN INJECTED WITH DEADLY POISON" which he places adjacent to the patch.  The next morning the 1 has been crossed out and 2 added!
