Your registration sticker has a grrreeeaaaatttt bbbbbiiiiiiigggggg month abbreviation on it which is your expiration month.  The year on the sticker is your expiration year.  Not hard to find!  BTW, color changes every year.

If my great big letters and month have August on them,are they good through the end of August ? Or should I have renewed for August 1ST. I live in Georgia so I do not see my boat that often. Please forgive me for I do not have the superior intellect of you El Guapo !!!

With my superb (not superior) intellect I can share some more info!  Expiration is the end of August, in your case.  There is no late charge for renewing late, but you could get fined by the Marine Police, if you are on the water with an expired registration.  I have been told that you can renew online now....no, I don't know the website address.  Of course, you can also renew at the court house in Dadeville, if your house is in Tallapoosa County.

Actually, I think you can renew in any AL county, as I live in GA and my boat lives in Elmore Cty but I renew in Russell county. I used to renew directly by mail with the Marine Police main office in Montgomery

I live in west Alabama and renewed my registration at the Alex City courthouse. In fact, I had to go through a metal detector and leave my keys and pocket knife with the guards while I did my business in the probate office.
