What's your location? How long does it last?

Darby drive, eclectic, al
I was there last saturday. Large amount covering the whole side of the slough. Again this Friday afternoon. Another large amount. I know oil spreads on water but this was a large area covered pretty thick.

Have you considered contacting either the county health department or an environmental office in Montgomery? Could be a good idea to get a water sample & pictures if possible. Someone, somewhere will be interested and take a closer look for the cause if you can put the word out to enough people. Or, see if you can get a local newspaper reporter or TV station interested. Hope not too much damage has been done, and that it gets fixed quickly.

You might want to call Alabama Power and report it to them. They have responsibility for reporting such spills. I think their main number is 205-257-1000, in Birmingham.
