Don't think I will ever understand how riding a wave runner in a 360 ' circle can be fun

I probably would if we had things like that when we were 15 and 16. But doing the same thing with a 14 foot flat bottom with the 15 hp on the back was a heck of a lot of fun!!  LOL!

Ever been on one?  They are a blast like a motorcycle on the water.

I agree that they are like a motorcycle on the water.

And I think you'd agree with me that if you spent hours doing donuts in my front yard with your motorcycle that I could shoot you and get away with it. ;-)

And along those lines: Why do people always spend alll day riding they Seadoos in front of OTHER people's houses? It's like they know that if they do that in front of their own house, they'll have to answer to someone they know, but riding in front of a stranger's house means that whoever they are annoying is anonymous, which is okay.

I am more concerned with folks that fish in my "front yard" and land hooks in the seat of my boat.

Amen to that....neighbor's new boat has been snagged several times.

It is unfortunate that many on the water don't consider their actions or have regard for others.  I have learned that having a place on the lake could increase stress instead of increasing relaxation if I let the action of others aggregate me.  Just have to let it go and enjoy your time on this beautiful lake, unless of coarse they are doing something that should be reported to the authorities.

I do do understand where you are coming from though, it can be quite frustrating.

Are you annoyed because the fishermen are there, or because they snag your boat?

If it's because they snag your boat, then you SHOULD be annoyed. But if they are just quietly fishing, then they have absolutely nothing in common with the noisemakers buzzing around.

They were going for the tomatoes! The cast just landed short in your boat!!!

snagging the boat.  I enjoy talking with them early in the morn when I am working in the garden.  Great folks out there, and sometimes I tell them to watch out for my boat.  Other times I throw them a tomato or two.

you're probably right on that.  Maybe I could get them to fish at night and go for the raccoons that are stealing my corn.  Or maybe that is Tarpon and Mack getting the corn, they just make it look like the animals did it.

Why do you have to be a teenager to do donuts in a jonboat?
