We have finally achieved our long term dream of moving to Lake Martin full time, we have been coming here for 18 years on a part time basis and love the lake the people and the area.

Glad to get out of the hussle and bussle of the Atlanta city life! Looking forward to spending the rest of our lives here at beautiful Lake Martin!!

Totally Jealous!!!     We hope to do the same in 7 years. We have had a house on LM for 3 years... went by quickly. Could not be more in love with the lake or it's residents. Glad you are here full time and hope you truly enjpy your time. We are in the Atlanta Area during the week.. Acworth.

Thanks we were not far from where you live in Acworth, would you agree that Lake Allatoona is a mud hole compared to Lake Martin, LOL

Congrats! We hope to do the same in 4 or 5 years. 2 years ago, we sold the house we raised our kinds in in Towne Lake Hills East in Woodstock. Then did a remodel and significant addition to the Lake house in Jacksons Gap. We haven't finished the outside scaping yet, but he house is ready when we are. We now sleep during the week in an apartment for work.

We arent there full time yet, but hope to join you soon.

   By time we get there "full time" you'll have the marine senior/ retirement center opened.  I can see it now...bingo on the boat and daily senior trips to the"rocK".   Six more years of work....I'll take the weekends in the mean time.
