Any suggestions of golf cart repair folks??   Have an old (2007) electric yahama that has saved my back from the trauma ofcarrying several hundred gallons of gas down the hill to the boat house.  It is currently 'tango uniform' and have been told it's a "motor controller' which apparently is high bucks.  Any suggestions on local folks that may offer a second opinion and/or assist?  Dadevill/Stillwaters area.

 Thanks, Terry Burke

Sorry, old military jargon.   It refers to a dead fish floating floating in the lake.  Tango Uniform, military phonetic for T U, or in this case "T_ts (breasts) Up'.  In other words it is does not work..

Roger that Hodja.  Good thing I did not have to explain 'whiskey tango foxtrot?)  Have falcon codes (circa '72) somewhere.  The one I will remember was my navigator's favorite on landing..  "take that runway...  and that...  and that.. "  warm regards..  tb

My favorite was 104 or 109, depending on which version of the code used..."beautiful, just ****ing beautiful!!".

Glad to see you are still on the forum.  Haven't seen many posts lately.

I am sure you've tried this, but have you tried all new batteries? It's an expensive proposition, too, but I have had a golf cart for several years. I bought it very used. Each time I thought it was dead, it ended up being a bad battery or two or three. That being said, the Battery Source in Montgomery on Atlanta Highway (kinda by Jim N Nicks) has rewired mine before, and given me good advice on batteries, etc.

I take mine to Southland Golf Carts 205-525-0131.  I trailer it to them up by Logan Martin Dam, but will not use any other.  Very honest and do great work with reasonable prices.  Last visit up this past summer, they repaired at no charge even though part was 8 months out of warranty.
