So I am a newbie...just wanted to introduce myself.
I am an addict to fly fishing...in particular warm water fly fishing. The Tallapoosa is a great river to use a fly rod on and I have been doing so for many years.
I hope to add to the forum what I can. While I am sure there are many on here that use the long rod, if you ever have any questions or need advice I may could help. Thanks for letting me be apart of the forum!

Howdy . I too fly fish and tie . So how does the Sauguheny fish below 49 or lovelady road ? Is it worth trying now ? most of my stream fly fishing has been done in SW NC , N GA , and SE TN for trout . What happened to the AL River Fishing forum ?

I tie as well. Fishing any streams and rivers has been good lately with the Fall bite. Redeye Bass especially. Any fly that resembles a dragon fly like a Stealth Bomber is very productive as the dragon flies are starting to lay their eggs. Also dragon fly nymphs are good.
Im not sure what happened...I was a member but not a regular. Sad high, it was a good community. Need something to take its place for sure.
