What are you hearing about water level this year?  I would be fine with it going to 479 to help with my project, but if it is staying where is then I need to develop a plan.

Almost looks like Alabama Power is trying to split the difference between 480 and 483.

According to Rule, it's supposed to hit 480' 12/31 and stay there til 2/17/2016.  Wear waders for that other foot.  Be sure you have a permit.  I figure they will be really looking for them this year.

I was at the AL Power Shoreline Management open house last week. The consensus opinion there was that it would go to 480 as usual this winter. But they stressed theirs were just opinions.

It's right on the chart Milt.  As a matter of fact, today's post is 0.1 lower than Dec. 14, 2014, which showed 481.1.

But the question is Will it go down like last year so I can drive tractor around front or do I need to take out a section of the pier.  I am sure AP will get antsy if I go taking a section out.

You are right about AP getting "Antsy" but the way I see it, they don't have any choice.  Since AP rejected the higher winter levels that the FERC had authorized, then AP is still operating under the old guidelines.  The have to operate under some guidelines so it's either the old or the new.  Just my two cents......
