Subject:	Short visit and a round at Stillwaters

Made a quick overnight to check out the house after all the rain.  Stopped by Stillwaters for a round of golf with my wife and given the rain the course was in pretty good shape.  Fairways and greens were in pretty good shape.  Most of the sand trips are still totally unusable. Looking forward to them being repaired as they are really awful. Best news was the new grill. We had lunch before we played and the food, service and prices were really good. We even considered staying for dinner after our round but was anxious to check out the house. Hope they continue to do well as we really needed another good restaurant on the eastern side of the lake.  Give them a try!

Had a nice evening on the deck and really enjoyed El Niño weather.  We even left the door open to our bedroom which worked nicely until the neighbor's dogs got going at 4am. Cannot for the life of me understand why you let your dogs howl in the middle of the night. Lots of brown water in our slough. Nice to have lots of water but not very pretty. All in all a nice visit to Lake Martin but as always it was way too short.
