Found female Chocolate Lab near Tallassee/Red hill area. Please message me is you know someone who has been missing this sweet girl. She has been out for a while as she is very skinny. I am keeping her warm and fed at the time. She is getting along great with my other 3 dogs. Please provide proof of ownership to claim her.

A vet or a shelter could check and see if she is microchipped.  You might be able to locate the owner that way.

Already checked with local vet. No chip. Filed a found report with humane shelters. Poster pic on all lost pets websites. No luck.

Could not find her home. Took her to the vet. She has anemia pretty bad, has had several litters in the wild and had to have her uterus taken out, had been hit by a car some time ago and her hip was broken in several places and grown back giving her arthritis and a forever limp, and she has heartworms. She now has a great home and her new owner has named her Marley and is paying for all of her medical bills. She is on the road to recovery and lots of love.

The extent of your effort to see that the lost chocolate lab received medical care and the person who stepped up and adopted "Marley" demonstrates the love and caring that develops between people and their pets. It is moving to see the such a positive ending to this story.

Thank you. We love our pups. We would have kept her ourselves had we not found the perfect home but we already have 3 dogs, a turtle, a ferrett, and a 3 yr old child. Our 2 story house feels like a small cabin sometimes. We are full. I should own some land so I could take in all the strays. We just love all animals and it breaks my heart to see them so helpless and the way people treat them.
