Cruised around Pleasure Point today

I took a chilly boat ride today and noticed the entire bank around Pleasure Point had been stabilized with rip rap. Only 8 houses/trailers left plus the marina and the boat storage buildings. Anyone know why the 8 houses are still there? Whatever docks they had have been removed.
