I have looked at it several times but never joined up.  Need to.  Problem with an online sight is I guess you are hooked for life.  But then I guess if something better came along you could download all the Carbonite stuff and move it.

My daughter in law has small business is is dependent on her laptop for embroidery designs, orders, etc.  She uses carbonite, crashed a disk about two years ago, and was able to restore all her stuff.  She was actually visiting her when she did the restore.

Been using it for 6+ years, works seamlessly and reliably, cost is reasonable. Coupled with an encrypted local backup, I can restore a crashed hard drive or destroyed house/computer easily to a new device.
