We live on the slough where the pier for Spring House and Catherine's Market is located. There are three sets of "No Wake" bouys in this slough. It is amazing how many boaters totally ignore these. There is a lot of boat traffic on our slough and those of us who have cabins here do mot appreciate either the ignorance or, more likely, total disregard of waterway rules. It might be helpful if the marine police would observe this situation for a couple of random weekends. Since the second set of bouys was placed, it has become worse sunce boaters totally ignore the first bouys.

I totally agree.  I slow to an idle well before the first buoy and boats pass me on their way to Catherine's.  Why would anybody be in a rush at the lake?

Agreed! What's the RUSH? It's "The Lake". I see peeps getting bent out of shape @Harbor Docks Rest. and other places all the time cause they have a wait. Cook to order does require time. Why are you at the lake or going out to eat if you're in a HURRY? I don't remember seeing a Fast Food sign like "Captain D's, or "McDonald's. Relax and enjoy the Best Treasure in Alabama ............ (Lake Martin Family) People and Water. After all they're not going to close when peeps are spending money! Remember be a respectful Adult as they do have the right to refuse service!

"peep" is an unusual word according to the London Unabridged Dictionary...It has one meaning when spelled peep and another when reversed and spelled peep. Which are you referring to????
