I don't have a measurement for how much fell at the south end last night, but I spent the morning bailing out a sailboat and a canoe that were almost sunk. That's a lot of rain.

Had one huge lightning and thunder that popped our refrig breaker and knocked out Charter.  Scared the you know what out of me.  No phone or cable and they will be here tomorrow to fix it.  Luckily can use cell phone, but do you know how quiet it is at night without tv?  Ate dinner on the back porch and just admired the lake.

Well,  another 2 3/4" last evening,  glad to finally be getting rain to keep lake up and gardens grow.

This much rain in late August is unusual, but I am not about to complain.  Hopefully this will keep up until my next weekend off.
