Can anyone tell me if Cook Road in the Parker Creek area is open yet or is the bridge still out?

I was by there a week or so ago and it was still out.

Believe it is still out.  The detour signs are still up.

Where is Cook Rd?  I have seen the detour signs and am curious.

Cook Road is a 2+ mile long dirt road from CR24 & Parker Island Rd to CR2.  People on CR24 side of Parker Creek use Cook Road as a shortcut to Parker Marina and Landing (by car).

Maybe this map link works:  https://binged.it/2cvEm2U

Thanks.  I will have to check it out when the bridge is repaired.

If that is still Coosa and not Elmore County, they may wait for a very long time. Coosa County doesn't seem to believe that the roads around the lake ever need fixing, except to drop some tar mixture in the potholes (which lasts about 2 seconds).
