I am new to the Dadeville / Lake Martin area and would appreciate some guidance on where to take my 1975 Johnson 15HP that has been dry stored and has not been run in three years.  It was in great shape last time it ran.  I tried to call Clearwater Marine, which had some older positive comments in this forum but it appears they are out of business.  I know there are lots of choices out there, but am not sure who is trustworthy and dependable.

Give Cathouse Marine a call. Steve does very good work. They are in Prattville and the number is 334-517-6500. Just remember if you are offered anything to eat while there to ask if Steve cooked it because he can't cook.

Fourth that. Steve's great, dependable, and fair $ wise. Like others said, he gives tons of free advice. I even texted him a question this weekend and he helped me out and didn't have to. He rebuilt the motor in my runabout and I bought a PWC that he consigned. I 100% recommend Cathouse Marine!

WOW, that is a ton of undeserved positive comments.  You guys are great.  Newsboy, about your engine.  We would be happy to get her going for you.  Just keep in mind that the lil' fellow is 42 years old, and not very happy to set up unused for extended periods unless stored properly.  And, you can be assured that I am the one in this group that actually CAN cook.  We look forward to seeing you.  I will post my contact info below.  Thanks again yall.
