Must be low on available chairs.....trade two for one solves the chair problem. After all, no real need to have Director of National Security and Joint Chiefs of Staff at a security meeting when you can have alt right leader Bannon. Hard to argue with the decision. Imagine if Obama had done that.....

WASHINGTON — President Trump is changing the advisory circle of national security experts in his White House, and the new configuration reflects the sharp rise of his controversial aide Stephen Bannon.

Bannon, Trump’s chief strategist, is now invited to sit in on all meetings of the National Security Council, while officials like the director of national intelligence and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff will participate only when summoned.

Go back and review o-BAMMIE's circle of muslim, domestic terrorists, and general low life "advisors".  All his CAIR, Muslim Brotherhood, and Al Sharpton type buddies were hundreds of times worse than Bannon.

I don't imagine the Chairman is  particularly thrilled with this move either.  He seems to think with Bannon and Ferris, he has all the expertise he needs.   I can't see Mattis living with this in the long term.  I think it'll change.

The verbage is misleading.  If the topic of the meeting is peripheral to their main objectives and expertise, Trump is giving them permission to skip the meeting if they have more important matters to devote their attention to.  They are free to attend if they want to.  Bannon has Navy experience, many media connections and banking and financial connections and experience.  Don't worry, the adults are now in charge.
