Went to La Posada on 280 in Alex City tonight.  Haven't been in quite a while but was pleased that they have doubled their dining area and the food is as good or better than ever.  Really nice to have that option, and others must feel the same because they were quite busy.

It was good last time we were there.  Glad they are serving good food and spirits.

Come on Summertime!!

Just thought I would tell you about another Mexican Restaurant in Alex City: Cazadores Mexican Restaurant, 910 Cherokee Rd., Alexander City, AL. 35010, Phone: 256-392-3991. We eat lunch there every week and think the food is a little better than La Posada. The menu is on Facebook! Hope you give them a try and enjoy!

What do you get at Cazadores?  Ate lunch there today Chima Changa  and Fajitas and not impressed.  What is good.  Will have to try it again.

Well, Fajitas is our favorite! Sorry you did not like your meal. Guess for you La Pa is your place!

I recall eating there once before, and we may give it another try.  We on the Coosa County side of Parker Creek and enter AC on 22 by Russell DoIt, so LaPo is really easy to get to for us.  That being said we are always up for something different.  Get Lakngulf to tell you about The Wreck in Charleston...??

Au contraire.  Best danmed seafood you will ever eat off a paper plate!

I'M tired of just Mexican places. Wish a good tradition American food style restaurant would open in Alex City. Only choice is Ruby Tuesday and  YUCK.

Sure do miss Cecil's

That's three BBQ places. How many you want? Or does it not count if it's not a chain store?

Big B was 50-50 when on 280.  Now 0 in my opinion.  It does not take a lot to cook decent bbq.  Tried sho nuff a time or two.  Not good.

Is Good Ol boys the service station?  Their ribs were pretty good.

Have you been to Smokin S in Wetumpka, or LA BBQ in Summerdale, AL?  That's what I'm talking about.

Full Moon in bham is good.

I'm not a huge fan of BBQ. I eat it sometimes. Make a couple of times a year. To me they all taste the same when talking pulled pork. Only the sauce mak#es a difference. The Shack on Logan Martin used to be my favorite but I haven't been there is years. They did a sliced plate that was awesome.
