Take off v brackets.  Mount two 2x12x12s to center on outer toons, and you're done.  I would say 3  2x12s but some pontoon companies hang the middle pontoon lower which could cause a problem.    Or, you can call a local dock co, and they'll do it for you for two to three thousand $$$$$!

Thanks Wix. My neighbor did that and the 2x12 boards are so badly bowed they don't offer any support except directly over the lift cradle.

The neighbors is only 90 days old as well. It just seems like more of the pontoons need support ..

I've got to convert mine as well.  I was given the same 2x12 by a local marina.  I guess I have a dumb question, whats the best way to attach those to the steel beams?  I'm not sure I have a drill that can get through the steel its pretty thick.  Is there some other way?

My beams are aluminum and High Tide said don't drill holes or it will weaken them. A galvanized U bracket might work. Then just drill the boards and not the steel.

Mine are steel made for lifting way more than a pontoon which is fine just got to figure out how to attach wood.  Brackets may be the way to go though I haven't found any that would work yet.  I've read that a hole in steel beam like this doesn't impact its structural integrity just cant figure out how to drill a hole in this.

Call Lunmar Boat Lifts, they can tell you the parts you need and ship them to you. Very reasonable and helpful. I bought my lift from them and I have tritoon with all toons supported. The center toon is larger than the others. 800-965-8544.

Hadenuff is dead on. Lunmar is the best place in the country to get your lift parts. Good people to work with you.  Prices are reasonable and free advice.

Yeah, my 2x12s sag too.  Go to a boat show or dealer showroom and take a look at what their boats are sitting on.  They stick a piece of foam under each end and they'll have 10-20 people standing around in the boat....these suckers are well built.  I've had my tritoon for about 9 years with the center toon unsupported and I load the passangers while the boat is on the lift.....no problems.
