To find it, scroll down to the post started by Flyfisher(Subject: taxes-flyfisher on 2/6/2017 7:09:51). You will have to scroll all the way down to get to it. If that is to hard to find, just go to Google and pull up "How to Create a Socialist State by Saul Salinsky". It is frightening! Also, this points out my request from awhile back for someone to figure out how to click on (Subject) and that will show the location of the latest post.

It seems that among the few posts we hear from you anymore are when I make a post. Welcome back! It seems you quickly respond to most of my posts but seldom respond to most of my follow up questions to you. So maybe those are not Alinsky's actual points, in fact they fall in line with most of the changes that occurred during your man Obama's eight years? Would you take each of the eight points and comment on how they match up with the negative changes in our country during the last eight years. Maybe Obama didn't need any ideas from Alinsky, he was capable of implementing his own.

The other 8 while attributed to Alisnky is not his, while the image that shortbus posted claims Alisnky - it is Cloward-Piven.  Alinsky and Cloward Piven I am sure both are well known in the democrat party.  Hillary herself did a thesis in collage on the Alinksy model if NBC is to be belived in 2007.

I believe most people can make their minds up in regards to which of the Alinsky / Cloward Piven rules / guidelines that Obama has used, and you can make your mind up as to who else may follow which rules.

Alinsky’s 12 Rules:

1. “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.“ Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood.

2. “Never go outside the expertise of your people.“ It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.

3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.“ Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.

4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.“ If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.

5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.“ There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

6. “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.“ They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones.

7. “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.“ Don’t become old news.

8. “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.“ Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.

9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.“ Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.

10. “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.“ Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.

11. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.“ Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.

12. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.“ Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.

The Cloward-Piven Strategy:

There are eight levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a social state.

The first is the most important.

1. Healthcare– Control healthcare and you control the people.
2. Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.
3. Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4. Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state
5. Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives. (Food, Housing, and Income)
6. Education – Take control of what people read and listen to us“ take control of what children learn in school.
7. Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.
8. Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Origins. The oldest broadcasting network in the United States, the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) came into being on November 15, 1926

but probably in the mid to late 60's during Vietnam.

Thanks for getting all the Alinsky information together in one place. As you can see from my original post, I am not adept enough on the computer to extract a lot of information from several sources and compile it in one post. At least I succeeded in getting Alinsky's name and works to the forefront. Only wish more people understood what Obama meant when he told us his "platform" was "Hope and Change". That's one of the few times I can recall when he ever told the "truth" or should I say "didn't lie".

No problem - have time on my hand and good internet :)  Seen you around for a long time and from what I can remember you are ex-military and have good points, questions and thoughts.  

I just hope for a change that Obama will go the hell away - but that does not seem to be the case.

You have a good memory. Yes, I'm retired Air Force and enjoy your posts. Things might be different if the liberals had anything to offer up to help. It's amazing that they show no concern for the future of our country. If one examines closely the eight or twelve steps of Alinsky Cloward-Piven, or whoever, Obama's actions during his eight years mirror their teachings in almost every way.

Glad someone does - LOL, best part of my day is laughing at GFY, he really thinks a lot of himself but it helps to pass the boredom when I get stuck at the desk.

Used to come looking for actual lake information, did not find any and lurked for what seems like forever.  If I had a hat on I would tip it for your service.  The man who created my interest in flying and tought me to fly was former AF flying F-106 Delta Darts, unfortunately we lost him probably 30 or so years ago now, as well as my 1st flight instructor who was also former AF.   

Sad part is I believe our country is circling the bowl and I am not sure there is much to be done to stop it.  There is no place better in the world, and it is sad to see it in the state it is today.  When you look at Alinksy / Cloward Piven what has been happening in Washington is right there in black and white.  D's are good at causing problems, and right now thats all they have left.  They will stop at nothing including the destuction of our country to get back to power.
