JUST SAW AN INTERVIEW CONDUCTED BY A MONTGOMERY TV STATION WITH THIS "Civil Rights Icon." all he did was criticize-TRUMP< SESSIONS< etc----so i wonder: 1] what does this man do for a living ?2] how does he pay his bills? 3] what does he do to promote peace, jobs for inner city people, curtail black on black crime, especially where he lives--CHICAGO  ? 4] does he visit Africa to help those poor people//nations ? ; He's in Selma for the bridge Jubillee as the keynote speaker--with a theme of REPARATIONS !!!

when does this end ? get a job, earn your Rreparations--my Cherokee ancestors are still waiting for $$$ for our land in Oklahoma ; Jan-March seeems to be dominated with everything black--I have never been a racist , but this mess is ridiculious; meanwhile Ala State Univ in Montgomery, predominately Black college, was searching for their, I believe, 4th president in 3 years, cant pay the current acting president & suspended the search process due to lack of unds to pay the search firm--cant jesse help them ???

What I heard about Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton (before he became a name), they made money shaking down companies by promising not to cause an uprising in the black workers.  While he would have liked to be the next MLK, he never made it, in my opinion, becasue he wasn't nearly as educated as MLK and couldn't stir people the way MLK did.  All he became was the agitator in chief, and a community organizer for those who aren't even as smart as he is.

With regard to reparations, if there were still people living that had been slaves, then I would be all for paying reparations.  But the idea that something is owed to their ancestors is just ridiculous.  Some members of the black community like and promote the idea becasue - hey, it would be free money; and those same people are bilking the government on welfare and various other entitlements.  It's the "world owes me something" attitude.  I don't know why I should be obligated to pay reparations since my family is from the North and to my knowledge, never had slaves.

I'm a little more sympathetic to a generation of blacks, who were held back in menial jobs like cooks, nannies, housekeepers, janitors, etc, because due to the culture at the time, they could not be employed otherwise.  But as you point out the Black community is not the only ones suffering from past indignities.  What we did to the Indians, and what we continue to do to them is horrible. If we owe reparatins to anyone it is probably the Indians.  (I seem to be paying them back every time I step into the casino :-) )

Your observations about ASU are right on too.  If there was ever a mess, it is ASU.  They can't run the university, in my opinion, because there is too much corruption among the officials.  You notice every time they get a new President, they are run out of town pretty quickly.  The best thing that could happen is if the state took over the school and "drained the swamp" of the current officials.  I can't imagine that anyone that is going there is getting any kind of education with the constant turmoil.

If you really want to see the criminal operation of "Rev Jessey" pick up a copy of his bio, Shakedown. We all know he is a crook but this really blows the lid off his operation. Guess this is the reason he is not on TV as much. He would shame Capone.

Guess that is why Big Al is now the pet big mouth on TV.
