Hey LaknGulf,,,, What happened to the undeveloped land around the corner from you toward open water? Just saw it today. Was that a controled burn or wild fire??? The ground was pitch black!

It was quite a blaze. Sorry you missed all the smoke. Your neighbor Summer Place took it all in for you.
I rode 4 wheeler over on saturday and there were stumps and dead trees still smoldering.

That may be a misnomer from what LNG posted... I can however understand a "prescribed burn", and agree that they are necessary at times. Being close to Smith Mountain, I have seen it burn on many occasions - not sure if they were under doctor's orders or not.
