Looks like The Landing had a great opening night.  Good early crowd, even better late crowd.  Place looks good,  New menu to be interpreted and figured out.  Good food, cheerful servers, and Herb helping at every turn.  Good job.  Glad to have The Landing back in business!

Boats are going by with lots of heads showing, so probably having a good lunch to day also.

The only thing I don't like about The Landing is the small amount of boat parking, partiularly when it is crowded.  I'd almost rather drive over.  But it is a welcome addition to our end of the lake.

As you would imagine, we do drive.  Two minutes and we are there.  Maybe I should start a Uber service from my dock!

And he has added four more slips on the other side of the marina, still pretty close to The Landing.  These slips will be for Little Houses renters also.

we drove over last summer--never again!! thought i would get a ruptured disk in my neck from all the potholes in the road; thought i was in IRAQ again

I'd probably be used to it from all the potholes over on these roads.  Just talking to my husband about it last night.  Roads have been patched so many times, it's bumpy.  It's a wonder I haven't blown a tire.
