Trump recently said that he misses his old life and that he didn't expect the job would be so hard.  Considering the personal restrictions and the pace at which things get done in Washington, I'm sure that is true.  I always sort of laugh when I hear candidates talking about what they are going to do on day one.  Candidates (all, except incumbents) have no idea what the job is like, and they don't know that the office of President is not as powerful as they thought.  They all still have to work with Congress.  How can you fault Trump for telling the truth?  He didn't know the job would be so hard.... so what? At least he said so.

Everyone but Trump was aware of the complexity of being President. He comes across as an idiot when he tells us he didn't realize how difficult it is to work with Congress. He calls the Dems obstructionists....did he ever follow the GOP Congress when Obama was President? When he ran his business he had his three kids doing all the work. Hard to understand how a 70 year old had no idea the job of leading the free world was complicated.

After only 100 days his administraion is moving the country in the direction that patriotic American people have been waiting eight years to see happen. The opposition shown to Obama was nothing in comparison to what President Trump is experiencing from the Democrats as they are doing nothing but showing their "spite" and "snowflake" mentality for being unable to come to grips with the fact that Hillary lost and as a result, their dreams were "shattered". When you take into account that Obama controlled the "News Media", President Trump must deal with a "News Media" that does nothing but "provoke" unrest and create "protests" throughout the country. Those who favor creation of "sanctuary cities and states" to protect "illegal" immigrants who have commited heinous crimes(murder, rape, kidnapping, assualt, etc.), many who have been deported and returned to the United States numerous times, should be charged with  intentional "failure" to protect the security of the people of our country. Many of those who espouse such rediculous support of "illegal" immigrants are the same people who hold "positions" that provide them with "security" that is paid for by the taxes we pay.

He said it was hard...  not too hard.  Contrast his vision, dedication and energy level with Senator Clinton...  Where would we be in the  first 100 days of another Clinton Administration?  However, comma,,, Bill would have kept it interesting with all the young staff..

And it is hard to believe that a 78 year old (or is it 79 now?) who has seen success in his own life can't fathom an office holder being honest that no matter how difficult he thought the job would be it is indeed harder.  I can relate to that.  When a former customer coaxed me out of retirement and asked me to send my resume to a minority woman owned small business (if she had a Hispanic surname they would have just given her the keys to Fort Knox), I anticipated as a minority white male that I would encounter some bias, but what I had to endure for some period of time was far beyond what I expected.  Our customer finally figured out what was going on and removed a couple of the more negative influences (I am being charitable) and everything has been positive since.  Even the owner finally figured out who was getting the job done....

Back to the issue at hand.  Yes, politicians are going to play whatever cards they have, and if that means slowing the train of those in power they will do it.  So what?  The Dems cried about Republican obstructionism while Oblabber was in office but I didnt read on the forum that you referred to them as coming across as idiots.  Why make the point now?  Are you being hypocritical?....never mind, we both know that answer.

And one final note.  I turned 48 this past week.  Uh, that is, expressed in a numbering system other than decimal.  How old am I in terms most would understand (forum posters please don't answer and spoil the question.  Just trying to see if GF can figure it out :-).  )

But the fact you are leaving out is that he is figuring it out very fast, and taking action.  After all the foreign policy/foreign relationships that was destroyed by the Obama administration (remember bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia, giving a CD of music to the Queen of England, etc).
