I have charter and it is not good.  Programming is terrible..  I do not speak spanish but if i did, half of the programming may be cool...  I don't buy crap from the tv dudes, so that's a no go..  aside from the fact the tv video breaks down (they call it tileing) it would still be not so good.  phone and hi speed internet are a plus, but the video sucks..  in my opinion//

Have Troy cable with 5 mg Internet.  All for $125 per month.  So how bad is charter?

I have Troy Cable at the lake (off CR 80) and I pay $108.80/mo. (that's unbundled and before all of the fake taxes). I don't subscribe to any premium channels, but I get every digital channel they have.  I have Spectrum in Montgomery and I pay $95.95/mo. (same deal) and I only get about half the digital channels they offer.  Somehow they know what channels I like and they split off some of them so I'll have to add a few more packages.  I read the other day how cable and satilite companies are loosing a lot of subscribers to internet carriers like RUKU and Netflix.

Have charter in bham for internet $60.  50 mg 

have troy for Internet 5 mg and tv basic at the lake $125

channels are not high def except for NBC, cbs and abc.  60 channels total.  

Guess you just have to accept whatever you can get.
