  Your president gave Comey over 100 days to get with the new program. After his testimony last week it was obvious that he was never going to ride the Trump train to MAGA. So POTUS did what he should have done on the afternoon of Jan 20. It took POTUS firing the obviously political director to bring you out from your safe space where you have been hiding and liking your wounds since election day. As was posted earlier, if Trumps only accomplishment is that he saved the country from a president Hillary, it's a YUGE win for America. But he is busy MAGA. When the tax cuts kick in I expect the two of you to continue to pay your current rate because you disagree with everything our great POTUS is doing so I'm sure you won't want to comply with the lower rates.

SAddy the swamp dwellers are focused on the pre-existing condition lie is the biggest obstacle to getting rid of Obamas debacle. Maybe they should read the forum to learn it has never been been a real issue, just a fabricated straw man. But sadly they seem to be as uninformed and as indignant as you used to be until I schooled you on the issue, although it took months for you get it through your thick skull and you wouldn't believe it until one of your fellow travelers on the left finally pointed out how wrong you were. I feel sorry for all those "clients" you supposedly advocated for in your career.

This is Trump Derangement Syndrome at its finest.  For months the left has been calling for his head because he "cost" Hillary the WH (yes, a delusion, but one that is widely held). Now that Trump cans the guy the left is making him out to be Mother Teresa, Ghandi and JFK all wrapped up into one.  

You leftists need to come to grips with this reality.  Trump is President.  He can fire any political appointee he wants.  Comey over the last year or more has pretty much hacked off everyone (left, right, independent, etc.) and was grossly incompetent.  Unless you are completely clueless you would probably agree that this is not a smart career move that ensures job security.  

He needed to be fired.  You should be thanking Trump for having the guts to get rid of this buffoon.

I must say you wouldn't know because you aren't one.  While I might have wanted him to do some things differently I am proud to have voted him in and helped to avoid the disaster that would have come with a Hillary presidency.  All in all I am gratified that he is making serious attempts to make good on his campaign promises.

I'm personally glad that Trump fired Comey and I'm only surprised it hasn't happened sooner.  Comey is dragging out this Russian Ties business far too long.  Comey is nothing more than a show pony, who likes the feeling he has the "upper hand".  He did it with the Hillary emails, and now he is doing it with the Russian Ties.  This whole smoke and mirrors needs to be wrapped up and put to bed.  I wouldn't cry too hard for Comey, as I am sure he will find a soft landing lobbying for law enforcement.  He's really been a disgrace to the FBI and made their credibility questionable.  And if we can't trust the FBI, who can we trust?

Sounds like you have your wires crossed. Didn't you mean to ask aren't there any Democrats in Congress who are willing to stand up for their country? Evey time the wind changes directions you Democrats do the same thing. One minute you wanted Comey fired because he  caused Hillary to lose the election, and the next minute when he is fired you go bananas saying what a great FBI Chief he "was". Maybe we need to build a "wall" high enough so you can't jump back and forth from one issue to the next. There is no consistency in your stand on any given subject. Your stand seems to always be the one that allows you to "blame" Trump. Consider yoursel in the "private" sector and your "boss" makes a decision that is contrary to your view on a particular issue, do you go out and "demonstrate" to show your disapproval or do you support his decision and remain an employee of that company? Your answer should be easy, you continue on the "boat" ride or you update your resume?

I don't know how much you participate in social media, but Cooperline is just another Democratic voice.  They hate everything about Trump, they have convinced themselves that he is going to be impeached, they post ridiculous interpretations of every thing that happens.  They just "know" that he stole the election based on Russian involvement, and they sign on to some great conspiracy theory between Trump and the Russians.  Democrats on Capitol Hill now want a special committee, which means that they have no faith in their colleagues on both sides of the aisle to examine the issue; but my feeling it is that they want to continue to drag it out as long as they can, because they have nothing to offer, but doom and gloom.  Nothing Trump says or does will ever be enough for them.  Even if he implemented all of their desires and dreams, they would still find a way to blame him. I don't even read their BS anymore.

I suspect it is the constant drumbeat of Democrats prior statements calling for Comey's head on a platter......or maybe it was the cheering of Colbert's audience to the news of firing......or maybe it is chagrin at the silly tone of the original post.  I am sure he was equally sobbing over the demise of democracy when Clinton fired Sessions....not.  After nine months there is not a single shred of evidence of any collusion between Trump and the Russkies.  I actually hope the investigation continues because I suspect the outcome is going to be a complete shock to the left when they find out that the collusion was between the Obama WH/Hillary/Clinton Crime Family Foundation and the Russians.
