CNN has taken the lead in promoting fake news about Trump and this weekend was no exception.  Friday they ran a piece about some Russia fund and Trump campaign advisor that turned out to be totally false.  They were forced to pull the piece and issue a retraction that said, and be prepared for a full on belly laugh, it did not meet their "journalistic standards".  Well that's setting the bar low.  And guess where the phony news came from?  None other than the office of Senataor Fauxahontas of Taxachuesetts.  Internally they have now commanded that all pieces that deal with Russia has to be reviewed and approved by some Sr. VP.  That is a stunning indictment of their lack of journalistic ethics.  Combine all this with several firings lately when their employees went full on TDS and you have a collapsing news organization in turmoil.

What these left wing nut govt media outlets don't understand is that their constant drumbeat of fake news to hamper the Trump administration and carry the water for the Democrats will only accomplishes three things:  1) no one is going to believe them when they tell the truth (don't laugh...they occasionally commit a random act of journalism); 2) people are getting weary of this issue and it could backfire in 2018 and 2020; and 3) they are sending the message that they are actually the Democrat party and all its politicians (the few that are left) actually work for them.  Of course those of us with a brain already knew that but it seems to be dawning on a wider swath of Americans.

Maybe she figured the cheekbones made her more trustworthy.... LOL

Amazing to me that Fox and CNN are going south in the age of Trump, for totally different reasons!

Actually FoxNews is back on top again.  Not sure how long that will last but pmsnBS and CNN going full on TDS does not appear to be working out well as a longer term strategy.  Will be interesting to see if Fox can regain their mojo.....I am skeptical given the leadership of the dufus sons who apparently are under the spell of their left wing nut wives.

Just heard about this but didn't see the original story, only the retraction and the publication of the leaked memo from the big wig.  When you pander in fake news this is inevitable.

CNN seems to be on a mission from Hell to run as many negative Trump stories as possible.  Same for the WP and NYT, and MSNBC.  When I think of all the credibility CNN used to have during the first Gulf War - with Wolf Blitzer reporting live.  Now it is nothing but a fake news generator with a lot of "talking heads" who once held some position to make them seem legit. 

I'm with whoever said "bring on college football".

Three "resign" for this fake news story.  And now we know from Project Veritas that CNN knows the Russia collusion thing is bovine excrement but is pushing it just for ratings.  Shocker, eh?  Only to the completely clueless.  I also think they are driven by ideology as well as ratings.  Either way, this guy (a senior producer) knows it is all a bunch of crap.
