of a time when America was great.  During the campaign of 2000 the Al Gore campaign received an unexpected dilevery of a copy of the Bush campaign policy and issues book...they informed the Bush campaign, made its arrival public, decided not to use it, and they turned it over to the FBI.  You could learn something from that Donnie boy Jr.  So could this forum!

"Decided not to use it". Obviously nothing of use to Gore's campaign. No politician would have turned useful information over to the opponent. America was never that great.

http://www.nytimes.com/2000/09/27/nyregion/2000-campaign-debates-bush-aides-question-inquiry-into-stolen-debate-material.html

The campaign of Gov. George W. Bush asserted today that leaked information about a Federal investigation into stolen debate materials had raised questions about whether the inquiry was proceeding in an fair manner.

Tonight, Karen P. Hughes, Mr. Bush's communications director, said the campaign was convinced the employee, Yvette Lozano, was innocent, and she asserted that the release of confidential information about the investigation had raised questions about political tampering by the Clinton administration to help Vice President Al Gore's campaign.

''This raises questions about whether the investigators are being allowed to conduct an objective investigation,'' Mrs. Hughes said. She added that the campaign manager, Joe Allbaugh, had raised similar concerns in a telephone conversation this afternoon with the F.B.I. director, Louis Freeh.,

Last week, the Gore campaign suspended a 28-year-old campaign worker who had bragged to a friend that the Democrats might have a ''mole'' inside the Bush campaign. Mr. Gore's aides said the suspended worker, Michael Doyne, had made the story up.

Yeah you and I remember those precious memories a little differently.  The Clintons were not above political tampering back in 2000 and in 2016 - no suprises there.  Lie and cheat - the D's way.

It only seems to be confusing to the D's cause to them logic and facts dont matter.  Just the way they feel at any point in time.
