This subject has probably come up before, but I was just wondering if the company that originated this game bothered to Google the "slang" definition that originated back in the 1940's. It could be a little embarrassing if the word is taken the wrong way. For example, would you like to play a game of "cornhole"?

I was in Dick's Sporting Goods the other day and saw what appeared to be a young college male looking at the game. We talked for a few minutes and he said he had recently heard about the definition that many of we older people knew.

After a little online etymology study, it seems that there are more theories about the game name than kernels on a cob...so I will advance my own theory.  The game was named in the deep South by those same people/descendants who named the other activity of which you speak.

Well, I wondered what it would take to wake up the BigFoot from his deep sleep!  Figured college football would get him stirring and now we know what else he likes
