-surprising no one.  After Charlottesville and his recent interviews did anyone think he would be permitted to stay.  Apparently, Kelly decided he was a liability to good order and mission, and got Trump to agree to dump him.  Kelly is creating a chain of command, which is what people do in the military.  Organize for mission, and keep the boss focused.  Let the staff fight it out, but only send one recommendation to the boss.  And all will be better, but unless Kelly wrestles the cell phone from Trumps hot fingers, we will still have the tweets.

I don't really know Bannon well but he was a lightning rod and seemed a bit out of place in the role he was in with the Trump administration.  I wish Kelly well in his quest to instill greater discipline in the WH operations.  But there is no way he will get Trump off twitter even if it would benefit his administration to do so.  At a minimum I would hope that he can at least get some discipline in the tweets so they are part of an overall communications strategy and less stream of consciousness.

Some reports say ban non will use the knowledge he gained in the wh and his new job at breitbart to attack the rhinos and sell outs who are obstructing progress.

I'm sorry to say that I think that Bannon was influencing Trump in not calling out the hate groups.  And he was creating hate and discontent among the major Administration figures.  He should never have been there to start with.  It worries me to think that Trump is a "last one in" boss - i.e. the last person he talks to is what he absorbs.  Have worked for a couple of those and it never turns out well.  Or maybe he is the kind that whatever the staff recommends he doesn't say is what will come out of his mouth.  Last one of those I worked for got fired.
