i think it is a shame when we let real estate agents put billboaard size signs on islands on the lake. We just saw two huge signs advertising for the Lake Martin Experience. I think Alabama Power who probably owns this land should have the signs removed. I hope this agent does not ruin the Longleaf subdivision by over building like he has the rest of the developments he has been involved in.

if you're talking about that one over by Murray Road near the Preserve at Stoney Ridge, that island actually is owned by a private individual and they are selling the island. It is not my listing, but it is on the MLS. So if anybody wants to buy it I'd love to help :) -- it's $1.75m!

obviously I would recommend a survey to confirm this, but according to the county it's about 0.9 acres +/- and about 750 feet +/- of waterfront.
