Wind Creek requires 7 day minimum for the premium sites which would accommodate our 5th wheel which is 45' long, and really wide with the slides out. Anyone know of any other campgrounds around Lake Martin which could accommodate us? We want to come for extended weekends.

thanks, Sues

I dont think there are any other temporary campsites on water.  There is a section of campers and some are pretty close to waterfront right by the blue creek bridge, beside the condo units.  I do not know if these are long term lease spots or if people come and go with their campers.  Just know there is always campers there.  Its right on Hwy 49.

Real Island is a long term park your camper and treat it as your home type place.  I doubt they have spots for temporary stays but if spots are available they might rent one short term.

Other than those two options I dont know any other place that has camping type setup.

The Blue Creek site is not an option. Those spots are rented long term with a wiring list for years to come. If you are military or veteran you can camp at the Maxwell-Gunter recreation area in Sandy Creek, but you must be military. Your best bet is to pay the seven days at Wind Creek and use it the two weekends or choose another lake. Lake Martin in is dire need of more camping facilities. Wind Creek stays at or near 100% capacity all summer and a good portion of the fall and winter..
