Yes, for the first time since 2012 we will have a major hurricane hit the continental U.S. (last one was Sandy in the Atlantic).  

This inconvenient problem for Globalonists will not matter.  They will come out of the woodwork claiming this is proof of global warming. Don't listen to them......they are dumb.

So, over the past hundred years how often has the US been hit with major hurricanes?  Seems to me five years is actually a longer period than usual or average time between majors.

Actually it's been almost 12 yearssince a major hurricane (cat 3 or higher) hit the usa. This is the longest period in recorded history. Which proves the startling thesis that democrats can't seem to comprehend... weather changes.

This is the absolute truth. Just saw part of white house briefing. Some reporter asked"what is federal government prepared to do to assist Texans while there are still pockets of rain". What kind of helpless idiots have we become when it is assumed a state will lie helpless while the federal government responds to a flood?

When the media idiots are lying their heads off, don't forget the storm surge in Bay St. Louis, MS was 32' with a 10-12' wave on top of that.  What kills people in a hurricane is the storm surge.  Media already has idiots standing in the surf with 50 MPH winds....it'll get really interesting before the media I's go home......

I used to work in Missouri City. (South Houston)

We were located on a "high" mountain  (35ft above sea level).

Problem is going to be the large amounts of water from a stalled hurricane.

Water has nowhere to go.  Just flat area with big ponds filling up.
