So how far does ''Oh hell no!'', as regards voting for the ''Judge'', extend?  Are referencing the primary only or does your disdain for this self-righteous miserable excuse for a human being extend to the general election too?  It's time for the reasonable people of Alabama to stop cutting bait and start doin some fishin!

BTW:  GF is right about Tom Price...he is a hypocrit but his hypocrisy extents to many subjects well beyond his opinions on taxpayer funding for travel.  Of course that describes 99%+ of the politicians holding office today.  But it goes further with little Tommy, he is also an extreme rightwingnut, a liar and a jerk to boot!

Most of Alabama politics makes me sick, so I try not to think about it.  No matter who you vote for, it's a mistake.  Our former governor who was run out of office still goes around and thinks he is one of the most admired men in Alabama.  And our Senators, and Congressional reps are an embarassment - the only one that wasn't an embarassment left to go work for the WH.

or are you just stalling? Now as for ''the only decent one going to work for the WH'', don't make me laugh...I assume you refer to the AG.  The ''Judge'' and the ''AG'' are like 2 peas in a pod on 95% of the issues before the country and Jeffy would make it 100% if he thought he could get away with it!  Look me in the eye and tell me he wouldn't love to put a 10 Commandments plaque in the lobby of the DoJ!

"self-righteous miserable excuse for a human being"

Looking in the mirror, were you?  Are you really as small a person as your posts on this forum make you out to be?  Surely not.

No, I don't think Jeff Sessions would put the 10 Commandments on the Wall of the DOJ.  I've already said I don't have any faith in Alabama politics - it rivals NJ for corruption and frankly, I don't understand why the people of Alabama put up with it.

But Architect - what is your interest in Alabama politics?  You don't live here.  I have a feeling your are trying to start some sh_t with me or with the entire forum.

I hope you are enjoying the Hilary excuse, er, book about why she didn't win.  I'm sure you have enjoyed all those interviews she has been giving to promote her excuses.  Honestly, I would be embarassed if I voted for her.  If she was intimidated by her political rival, I can't imagine how intimidated she would be by Rocket Man in NK.  And the stuff she said about looking forward to confronting Putin?  Putin would eat her for lunch.  She is overly impressed with herself.  Loser.

Well said.  Archie is just Alpha Foxtrot Uniform.  He cowers, not posting until he thinks he has a talking point, but really?  I don't think so.  And the anger, the vitriol?  Glad I am not in his shoes.

Which of the ten commandments do you think should not be a basis for our system of law, architect?

Easy, Hound.

I am interested in who wins the Alabama Senate race because I am an American and love this nation and do not want the likes of Roy Moore (and he is a miserable excuse for a human being) having anything to do with its governance.

I do not know anything about the Democrat who will run against Roy Moore, but I would bet the farm he or she is far less objectionable than Roy Moore and would bet that many reasonable Alabama Republicans would feel the same way and wondered whether the old Hound might resurrect and join them in voting for the good of the country rather than for the furtherance of the Republican party!

should be enshrined in the US code of Justice because the 10 commandments are a religious declaration not a civil one.   Many of them are prohibitions that are part of our laws because they are universally accepted with or without their inclusion in such a religious document.  Do any of you really want ''Thou shall have no other Gods before me'' inshrined in this nation's code of laws?

This alone explains why you are an idiot.  You would vote for Robert Byrd or anyone else with a D that you know nothing about as long as its not an R or Roy Moore in this case.

Cat, I understand you don't like me, but am I not allowed to have my "freedom of speech"?  I don't like Roy Moore - I don't know whose values he represents, but I do know that he refused to accept a decision by the U.S. Supreme Court.  I consider him to be a Right Wing nut.  As far as Luther Strange, I do not like that he accepted the temporary seat in the Senate, as a bribe to remove him from exposing our last Governor for what he was.  They are both products of what I consider the corrupted government of Alabama.  And I know corrupted, having lived in NJ where corruption is rampant; and I lived in VA with MacDonald who thought it was fine to take gifts from a CEO and then throw his wife under the bus when he got caught.

I don't know about the Democratic candidate.  I really don't want to see another Democratic in the Senate.  If he is halfway intelligent, they will ensure he gets a lobotemy, so he can be as witless as the rest of them.  I guess you could say that the Far Right and the Far Left have no appeal to me.

Archie - Did you vote for Hank "Guam is gonna tip over and capsize" Johnson?

Just asking so we know what kind of people you approve of voting for.

No I did not vote for Hank Johnson because I am not in his district.  If I was I would have reluctantly voted for him in 2016 because his GOP puppet black opponent made him look like Albert Einstein!

If I were in AL I would learn about the Democratic candidate and almost certainly vote for him or her against Roy Moore...like Hank Johnson, it is highly likely that whoever he or she will look like Einstein, Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Truman and Steve Jobs combined when put up against Roy Moore.  In the very very unlikely event it turned out Moore was somehow philosophically, morally and intellectually surperior to his opponent I wouild write in sombody, but under no circumstance would I vote for a holier than thou religious bigot!

Hope you and Hound get the senate representation you deserve if you continue to ALWAYS vote party over country!

I am going to interject myself into this conversation. Maybe I shouldn't but that has never stopped me before. I don't understand why you say cat doesn't like you. In fact after he met you years back he told me what a nice lady you were. He also made another comment that was very complementary toward you but if I repeated it here we would be labeled sexist pigs for actually noticing a woman's pleasant appearance. I on the other hand held a negative opinion of you at that time, or at least the personal you presented here. Over the years though I have grown to admire most of your opinions and respect them all, even when I disagree with them because I know you believe in what you say and stick to your principles. On the other hand I have stated many times I may make a statement I don't necessarily believe in just for the sake of a spirited debate. Some here know me and what I really believe some olive to keep guessing... Lol.

Bottom line is your perception that cat doesn't like you is wrong. He doesn't need me to speak for him of course but I wanted to correct the record.

You include a bigoted statement in your post while calling others a bigot. But then again you couldn't comprehend the difference between mute and moot so obviously Hank Johnson does seem like a Genesis to you.

I never vote party over individual.  In this case, I would not want to see a democrat in the Senate, because I hate to see Republicans lose a seat.  But I don't vote for anyone that I don't think can do a reasonable job.

I mentioned the other day how I have been watching the Ken Burns Vietnam documentary.  It is really eye opening how far left the current Democratic party is from LBJs time.  Actually, I have come away from this with an improved impression of Johnson.  But honestly, can you look at Pelosi and Sanders and others and say that you think they are on the right track?  The road they are on will only put this country further debt and taxes will have to be raised  I don't know about you, but I know what I pay in taxes and it is more than some people make in a year.

Glad to know you put party over all else and would vote for the idiot Hank Johnson or anyone else who is morally bankrupt and intellectually stunted.

You are nothing but party over all else, you are blinded by your hatred, racism, bigotry and liberalism - well I guess that is just liberalism in a nut shell.

have you ever heard the phrase ''the pot calls the kettle black''?  Did you even read my post?  I would have voted for Hank Johnson not because he was the Democrat but because his opponent was even dumber than he was and only spouted the Republican line which everyone knew, from her earlier actions, she either didn't believe or was lying either then or before about what she did believe!  Now, if you think Roy Morre is the second coming of Winston Churchill then by all means vote for the SOB, but if you think he is ignorant, an idiot and a bigot, which I do, (I am of course assuming you are not inclined to support ignorance, idiocy and bigotry) then you owe it to the nation and yourself to at least take a look at his opponent even if he or she happens to be a Democrat!  Is that your plan...look in your heart of hearts and don't lie to me or yourself with your answer?

No I do not look in any way admire the politicc of Pelosi and Sanders, but I have even less admiration of the politics of the arrogant, dangerous and stupid man in the White House.  It is disturbing that the Democrats are moving further and further to the left, but I am equally disturbed that the Republicans are moving further and further to the right...as manifest yet again today by the announced retirement of Sen Corker.  As both parties become more and more a hostage by their extremist base, the sensible center has been completely squeezed out even though it is the place on the spectrum where most Americans sit.

Now Hound, you say you always vote for th person rather than the party...so is Roy your ''person''?  Of course you don't have to answer, but you sure didn't have any problem making your preference known last October.

The above is your quote - You would vote for a potato vs someone who is philosophilcally, morally or intellectually surperior to his opponent or write in someone who has no chance in the contest.  Party over country - I guess you are the hyprocrit you are accusing me of being.  I did read your post.

Saying somebody is morally or intellectually superior to another person is not the same as saying they are fit to sit in the United States senate!  I suspect if asked to choose most people would consider Mussolini ''morally superior'' to Hitler, but l doubt many of them would be comfortable voting for Il Duce!

So, if you consider all candidates intellectually or morally unfit for the office you still plan to vote for one of them?  Humm, let me guess which party label you will select.  I consider it my patriotic duty to cast a vote for someone else, even knowing it is a protest vote, if all the other candidates are idiots!  Roy Moore is an idiot so I guess he deserves your vote.

If Roy Moore is an idiot, then he is a smart idiot....hmmm that is a bit of an oxymoron isn't it tinker belle.

So you narrow the statement you made "philosophically, morally and intellectually surperior" to just morally to equivicate that Mussolini is morally superior to Hitler.

So what you are saying is that you could not vote for Hitler(as I believe most people arm chair quarterbacking history would agree with), so you would vote in protest allowing Hitler to rise to power with a protest vote by voting for Mr. Potato Head and get Hitler over a lesser evil.

Sounds perfectly D Logically.

Old Guam tipping over does your state as much of a service as Roy Moore, and to think you said you could have voted for that idiot  wow.
