The facts of the case were grotesque. Weiner had engaged in sick “rape” fantasies with the (15YO)girl, and urged her to dress up in plaid schoolgirl skirts.

21 months - not nearly enough - and for you to call it "Vacation Time" shows just how sick you are.

Hope he is not going to Club Fed for his "Vacation" but to a prison for non-politicans.

So much for you wanting to protect the children.

Given it is hardly his first offense, he deserved more jail time than he got.  He is a sexual predator.  I guess you just cannot convince young people today that the internet can be a dangerous place and there are a lot of pervs out there.  What he said to her that would convince her to appear nude on Skype is beyond me.  And I agree, I hope he doesn't end up at Club Fed, but a real prison with hardened prisoners.  Sad to think he once had a promising career.

Depending on reports she may have known what she was doing and went looking for older men - still when she indicated she was underage he should have put an end to it, not continue on, send her adult pornography and have her play dressup and role play rape scenarios.

He is a very sick man.  Let's hope that in addition to prison time, he can also get the psychological help he needs.  He must get some kind of sick thrill from it.  And as a man who served in politics, he should have known that even when you don't think anyone is watching, someone is always watching.  

As for the young girl, I hope she gets psychological help too.

In addition to his prison stint, Weiner was sentenced to pay a $10,000 fine for his crime, participate in sex offender outpatient treatment and spend three years on supervised release once his sentence is up.

He will have to surrender to his designated facility by Nov. 6 — his lawyer put in a request for Schuylkill Federal Correctional Facility in Pennsylvania, or another low-security prison near New York.

But the minimum-security Schuylkill camp — it’s a satellite location to the medium-security prison of the same name — is hardly the “Club Fed” critics paint, former inmates say, despite the decent living conditions and edible food.

The worst part may be the isolation and time away from family.

Inmates work about seven hours a day, five days a week. Otherwise they read, watch television, work out or play sports such as softball, basketball and bocce.

There isn’t a fenced perimeter, and there’s only one guard per shift.

“It’s nice as far as being incarcerated goes,” said George Stantzos, an inmate from 2001 to 2005. “In reality, it’s not nice. You’re put in a melting pot with people from all different levels of society and you have to (coexist).”

So yeah - probably a vacation, worst part is being away from family or forced to be around different levels of society.....

your post talks about how terrible it is to be in prison with "different levels of society".  Sounds kinda racist doesn't it.   OH, WAIT.....HE'S JUST TALKING ABOUT DIMOKRAPS!!  I got it now!
